A House Like Mine

A new resource was recently launched for homeowners and landlords. 'A House Like Mine' uses 12 real-life homes in Oxford, and features both landlords and homeowners, to highlight how there are many ways to make your property more energy efficient, whatever your house type, personal circumstance, or budget.

The case studies use a step-by-step whole house strategy to improve energy efficiency and work towards achieving an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of C or better. With the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) likely to be changed, requiring all private rentals to reach EPC C by 2030, now is the time to plan ahead. Making improvements now means you can spread costs over time and avoid last-minute, more expensive upgrades.
