An active, engaging social media profile can have big benefits for small businesses: increasing awareness, building authentic connections with customers, prospects and the local community.
Struggling to find the time to generate regular unique content?
The ubiquitous sharing icon (paper plane) is everywhere so sharing posts created by other relevant, local organisations can help! It reduces your workload, add value to your followers and increase the chances of reciprocal sharing in the future.
When you repost or share, be sure to add a few lines to explain why you’ve done so. The WCP Instagram and NT socials regularly share content that’s easy to repost like their recent thru-hiking hot-weather tips. Take a look and see what you could share to boost your visibility.

A host of events are taking place across the Wales Coast Path this autumn. We’ve highlighted some of the biggest walking festivals below, with tips to help your business make the most of them.
-
Follow, tag and create content for relevant events on social media: reference the festival, speak directly to its audience and tag organisers to encourage reciprocal reposting.
-
Offer event-goers a time-limited discount or added value: share your tailored offer on your social channels and tag event organiser to maximise visibility.
-
Make direct contact with the event organisers: could your business provide support on the day or a discount for the event organising team?
