We’ve teamed up with Heads Above the Waves (HATW) a not for profit organisation raising awareness about mental health and depression. HATW’s mission is to help reduce the number of young people turning to self-harm.

Commemorate your walk

Have you finished walking sections of the path this winter? We’ve got commemorative badges and certificates available to celebrate your achievement! High quality woven badges (which can be stitched or ironed on) paired with an A4 colourful personalised certificate are available from the online shop. Available as certificate and badge bundle or buy each item separately – the choice is yours. Every purchase goes to supporting the path for now and for the future. We fully recommend showing off to your friends and family!

Help us monitor the Welsh coastline this winter

We’re part of a global citizen science project called “CoastSnap” – where people share their pictures of coastline contirbuting to understanding the effects of climate change in this fragile environment. You’ll find special CoastSnap spots – fixed phone cradles at certain points along the path. Simply put your phone in the cradle, take a photo of the view and upload it. Find our CoastSnap locations Why not try them out on on your Autumn walks - we need more autumnal and wintry pictures!

Our Plan your Visit webpage is jam packed with useful resources to make the most of your time on the path:

• Interactive map – see where the path is closiest to you and plot your route.
• Distance tables – approximate distances between major towns and villages to plan breaks along the way.
• Temporary diversions – the latest diversions to the path
• Walking itineraries  - ranging from short walks up to 6 miles or longer walks up to 13 miles long.

Wales Coast Path Facebook Community – a useful, friendly group of like-minded walkers with lots of inspirational ideas on where to go on the path.
