Join Radio Cymru presenter Aled Hughes on a personal journey around the Llŷn Peninsula in north west Wales.
Although now living on Anglesey, he has deep roots in Pen Llŷn - which has helped him revist some familiar places along the way.
Aled will be talking about his journey at this year’s Eisteddfod in Boduan, near Pwllheli on 8th August 2023 at 1pm on the Ecoamgueddfa Llŷn stand.
From Trefor to Porthmadog, Aled has been using the official guidebook to this section of the path – the first one available in the Welsh language.

Before cooling off in open water this summer, take a moment to think about your safety and the safety of those with you.
Use these four tips to help keep you safe in and around the sea, rivers and other open water:
- Stop and think: Is it a safe place to swim?
- Are there hazards beneath the water?
- Are there hidden currents or fast-flowing water?
- How deep is it and can you get out easily?
- Stay together: Always go with someone else
- Float: If you get into trouble in the water, #FloatToLive until you feel calm
- Call 999 or 112 if you see someone else in trouble in the water

CERDD//ED is music tour with a difference. In Welsh, “cerdd” means music and cerdded means to walk.
Folk duo, Seth and Chris of “Filkin’s Drift” are on a mission to approach touring in a more sustainable way.
They will be walking sections of the Wales Coast Path en route to performing their gigs in community venues along the path. Seth and Chris aim to combine a sense of a place with their music, whilst bringing communities closer to share experiences of the Welsh coast.
There are 40 gigs, booked in a variety of community venues this September and October. We’ll definitely be following these two on their tour!
