Our updated app now allows you to record your walks and shows whether you’re on the path (or not) on the map.
You can see how much you have completed (per path region and the path overall) and more importantly, how much you have left to do (as a percentage) – the ideal way to keep you on target! Find out more about the app
The app also suggests other sections of the path to walk based on your current location and shows places of interest along the way.

Our guest travel writer Viv Crow has walked two popular sections of the path, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion, using public transport by either staying in one place or a handful of bases.
Using trains and buses to get to the starting point for her next day of walking was achievable and allowed her to view the path from a different perspective.

Walking the Ceredigion section using public transport
Jam packed full of practical information and points to consider, Viv has certainly “been there, done that” – she’s also one of the authors for the official guidebooks to the path.

We enjoyed meeting lots of people interested in the path this summer at the Royal Welsh Agricultural show and the National Eisteddfod, Tregaron in Ceredigion.
At the Royal Welsh show, we held a stakeholder event where we invited partners to discuss the importance of working togther to develop and maintain this amazing path for everyone for now and the future.

At the National Eisteddfod, naturalist and TV presenter Iolo Williams wowed the crowd with his rousing talk about his passion for the wildlife you see along the path – it was a standing room only in the end! His advice? Just go out on the path and enjoy what the path has to offer – we coudn’t agree more!
