Following a national recruitment exercise, Anthony May has been
appointed as the next Chief Executive at Nottinghamshire County Council,
subject to approval of the County Council at the Full Council meeting
in January.
A
task force set up by the council to combat the
problem of counterfeit and untaxed cigarettes in the county has seized
£58,529 worth of illicit tobacco and raided a total of 49 premises since
