NHS bookings are open for people aged 16 and 17

16-17 vaccinations

Almost three-quarters of a million young people in England have already received their first Pfizer vaccine in line with Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation advice.

People aged 16 and 17 can book their Covid-19 jabs through the National Booking Service as the NHS vaccination programme pulls out all the stops to protect people ahead of winter. This age group can also walk in for their first vaccine dose at selected sites in Nottinghamshire without booking an appointment.

Covid-19 booster vaccine for housebound residents

Housebound resident

Housebound residents in Nottinghamshire will receive a Covid-19 booster vaccine within their own home or place of residence.
If a housebound resident had their first or second dose via the roving service, they would receive their booster jab from a GP doing their home visit or the roving team.

Please keep in mind this will vary depending on the practice, and residents should wait to be contacted first. If a resident has recently become housebound, they will need to contact their GP surgery to register for a home visit.
