Get to know the restrictions

It's the first weekend of HIGH COVID alert level in Notts...

We’re all going into the first week of half term and this is a great opportunity for us to underline that everyone should adhere to the new high alert level rules so that we can reduce the coronavirus infection rates.

This weekend, please bear in mind the following:

  • Indoors – we can’t mix with another household (aside from support bubbles)
  • Outside - keep to the rule of six
  • Follow Hands. Face. Space. guidance
  • Get a free test promptly if you have symptoms of coronavirus. Call 119 or visit the Government website

This guidance that we all individually must follow will keep us safe and reduce the number of coronavirus cases across Notts.

High Level Locl Alert for Notts

Highlevel

We know that it’s a difficult ask of people but it’s really important that we all follow the new HIGH COVID alert level restrictions to protect ourselves and others from the spread of coronavirus.

Remember that you must not meet socially with friends and family indoors in any setting unless you live with them or have formed a support bubble with them. This includes private homes, and any other indoor venues such as pubs and restaurants.

Please be aware that there is separate guidance for:

Childcare bubbles

Childcare

You can still get support with informal childcare from another household by forming a childcare bubble. A childcare bubble can only be provided for children 13 or under, and it must always be between the SAME two households.

Childcare bubbles are to be used to provide childcare only, and not for the purposes of different households mixing where they are otherwise not allowed to do so.

Do you know your local COVID Alert Level?

Across England we now have three Local COVID Alert Levels which are categorised as Medium, High and Very High.

Each tier has different restrictions that you must follow to protect yourself and others from spreading coronavirus.

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are in high but do you live on a border and are unsure which tier you're in?

October Half Term fun

We may be in tier 2 folks, but there’s still plenty of family fun you can have this half term with your household or support bubble.

Outdoor activities can be with different households if you stick to the rule of 6 and keep to social distancing guidance.

Have a fang-tatic half term with the kids!
