NHS Covid-19 app

Download the new NHS Covid-19 app

The NHS Covid-19 app launched yesterday and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Using contact tracing, the app detects and logs other nearby app users. It also enables you to ‘check in’ when you visit a venue by scanning a QR code displayed on posters at the entrance. Both features will then inform you via an alert if someone you have come in to contact with later tests positive for coronavirus.

The app will also allow you to report symptoms and order a coronavirus test, as well as helping the NHS trace individuals that may have coronavirus.
