The Council’s Policy Committee will be asked to agree to write to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government seeking an invitation to submit proposals for the establishment of a unitary structure. The report and proposed letter can be accessed on the Your Nottinghamshire, Your Future website.

In Jonathan Gribbin's latest statement, the Director of Public Health addresses the ways in which coronavirus is currently being spread from one person to another in the county and what we must all to do help prevent this spread.
This includes a new government announcement about the Rule of Six where you should not meet with people from other households socially in groups of more than six from Monday 14 September.

The daylight hours are getting shorter and Autumn is on its way, which means our recycling centre opening hours are changing.
From 1 - 31 October sites will be open from 8am to 6pm daily.
Please sort your waste into types before visiting, where possible, and allow plenty of time to unload your waste once at your chosen site as the sites may be busy.

Last week the Council’s Communities and Place Committee met to discuss recent funding updates from the Government along with its plans and priorities for cycling in Notts.

Construction works are underway on a brand new, state-of-the-art climbing and abseiling tower with high rope activities at the Mill Adventure Base, near Sutton in Ashfield.
