From Monday you must not hold social gatherings with more than 6 people.
New government rules mean that no more than 6 people can meet indoors or outdoors from Monday 14 September. Pubs, restaurants, shops and other venues will remain open, but people can only attend in groups of up to six. Venues should also allow for social distancing between groups.
There will be some exemptions to this rule, including schools, work places, weddings, funerals and when your household or support bubble is larger than six.
We’re all really excited to see friends and familiar faces and catch up on the months missed, but please remember to respect social distancing when doing the school run.
Keep 2 metres apart from anyone outside your household.

We’ve had reports of belated prom parties being organised.
We don’t mean to be party poopers but only groups of six will be able to gather from Monday 14 September. Larger groups of people mixing is one of the main ways you can help the virus to spread - especially if you're not showing symptoms. So please be aware that you may have the virus and you could be in danger of passing it on to older relatives and loved ones!
Please put the big prom parties on hold, thank you.
