Registrations of births

Birth registration appointments resumed

Lockdown has been a tough time for all of us but particularly for new parents who may have felt anxious at being unable to register their baby's birth. The registrations team have been working tirelessly to reopen offices in a safe and controlled way and we're pleased to let you know that appointments to register births can now be booked by Notts parents regardless of when their babies were born.

New parents who live in the county can book appointments at registration offices including:

  • West Bridgford
  • Arnold
  • Mansfield
  • Worksop
  • Retford
  • Newark

While appointments are now available, those looking to attend should be aware that measures including social distancing are in place on site to slow the spread of the virus.

To book an appointment please call the Customer Contact number on 0300 500 8080.
