Local Outbreak Plan published
Our Local Outbreak Plan sets out the arrangements for controlling the COVID-19 rate of reproduction (R) across the county so that we can return to life as normal as possible, for as many as possible - and to do so in a way that is safe, protects our health and care systems, and supports our economy.
We’re working with our partners to contain the virus, safeguard services and enable schools, workplaces and local communities to get up and running. We’ll monitor the situation and respond quickly to any outbreaks, should they occur.
Everyone’s role in following the guidance will continue to make a real difference. So please continue social distancing, washing your hands, staying at home if you have symptoms, getting tested and following the advice given.
Sunny weather + gradening/DIY projects = increased visits to recycling centres, which means our sites may be busy so queues can be expected.
Avoid the queues at your local recycling centre by making the most of your local bin collection.

 With nine couples set to tie the knot in Notts this Saturday, the news that weddings and civil partnerships are set to resume in council buildings and approved premises is another welcome sign of lockdown easing.

New social distancing rules come into action from this Saturday including the new ‘one metre plus’ rule for all venues - including shops, restaurants, schools, offices, and parks.
This is good news for our local economy but we’re keen to remind people that safety and controlling the virus must come first and to remain cautious.
