Stay home this Easter Notts
Spring has definitely sprung in the county, the weather is getting a little sunnier and warmer and mother nature is blooming. Naturally, we'll want to get outdoors more, but PLEASE remember to continue following the Government's advice about staying home with the exception of your one form of exercise per day.
We're all in this together, so let's look after each other.💚
Stay Home. Protect the NHS. Save Lives.
We've teamed up with all the district and borough councils to offer a new free parking permit for people who are helping unwell and vulnerable residents.
This means that NHS workers, social care staff, community volunteers, and others can park for an unlimited time on single yellow lines, in council-owned car parks and other areas.
Thank you to these workers and volunteers for all the amazing things you do every day to help others.

Thank you to all the voluntary groups and charities who have applied to our £1m Community Fund to help with running costs during this crisis.
We're busy assessing and reviewing the hundreds of applications we've received, and will be in touch with those that have submitted to receive funding as soon as possible.
Keep up the fantastic work Notts.

We're committed to getting help to those who really need it. Please share information about the hub and the services available with others.

During this time, you may be bored, frustrated or lonely. You may also feel low, worried, anxious, or be concerned about your health or that of those close to you.
Everyone reacts differently to events and changes in the way that we think, feel and behave vary between different people and over time.
It’s important that you take care of your mind as well as your body and to get further support if you need it. The Government has put together a guide full of handy advice and signposts where best to go for help should you need it.

As the tree pollen count is set to soar this weekend, it's very easy to confuse hayfever symptoms with Coronavirus or a common cold.
Don't forget - if you are still concerned about your symptoms use the NHS app or NHS 111 online for advice.
|
Please remember that all Nottinghamshire recycling centres are closed.
Any waste you would normally take to a recycling centre should not be placed in to your kerbside bin - instead please store it safely until the sites re-open.
Thanks for your co-operation Notts.

Let us introduce to you, Richard - he's one of our specialist adult social care advisors who work specifically to help and advise residents needing Social Care help.
During this crisis period, he is one of the team that have been signposting people that are struggling to get shopping and medication to our Community Hub of volunteers and organisations that have stepped forward to assist them, and helping to ensure that residents with significant health concerns that have been asked to self isolate for 12 weeks receive emergency food parcels.
Like many, he's now working from home. Our IT team have been working hard to ensure all our call centre advisors are able to answer calls from their home meaning no reduction in service.
A little thanks from Richard to you Notts "It's a privilege to be on the front line supporting the residents of Nottinghamshire. The thanks that they show us and our partner agencies has been really humbling...My only regret is not getting a haircut before lock-down!"
(Also we take GDPR very seriously hence the blurred out screens)👍
