 Don't put off the flu vaccination!
Flu is a highly infectious disease and can lead to serious complications if you have a long-term health condition like COPD, bronchitis or diabetes. On top of health conditions like these, flu can easily develop into something very serious and could land you in hospital.
If you have long-term health conditions you may be eligible for a free flu jab through your GP or pharmacist.

Let's get physical

 New exercise classes are taking place across the county to help you improve your strength and balance. The low cost classes have a mixture of chair-based and standing exercises which are designed for the over 55s.
Refreshments are included.

Bomber command and tribute takes off
|
 The County Council has awarded £10,000 towards an iconic new landmark to mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force and honour the bravery of the county's World War II air crews.
The Bomber County Gateway Trust is constructing a representation of an Avro Lancaster Mk1 Bomber at Norton Disney, north of Newark off the A46.

 Enjoy a fantastic sporting spectacle when representatives from the British Army play the German Armed Forces in two football matches to remind us that the nations who were once enemies on the battlefield are now friends and allies. VIPs and sporting legends from both countries will be attending as well as fan zones, music and exhibition areas.
