This November, Sleaford will commemorate Remembrance Day with a town centre parade on Saturday, November 9, concluding at the War Memorial in Sleaford Market Place.
At Monument Gardens, visitors can view a striking display of over 4,000 handcrafted poppies, while St Denys Church will be illuminated with a moving poppy projection from November 7 to 11, creating a poignant tribute in the heart of the town.
Additionally, the International Bomber Command Centre will hold its Annual Service of Remembrance on November 9 at 10:30am, offering another opportunity to reflect and honour those who served.

North Kesteven offers immersive experience days that go beyond the usual outing.
Become an 'Apprentice for an Afternoon' at Cogglesford Watermill in Sleaford, where you can mill and take home your own flour and enjoy freshly baked scones along the way, or enjoy a full day at Heckington Windmill with a tour, hands-on milling, lunch, and baking.

Visitors at a Cogglesford Watermill Milling Experience
An Eventful Sleaford kicks off on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November. Begin your holiday shopping at the Christmas Contemporary Makers Market at the Hub. That same weekend, visit the Christmas Tree Festival at Sleaford Methodist Church for a dazzling display of decorated trees that truly light up the season.

Then on Sunday 30 November, the Sleaford Christmas Market returns with live entertainment, festive stalls, and seasonal cheer throughout the town.
Meanwhile, the Navenby Christmas Market and Light Switch On takes place on November 21 from 5–8pm. Tickets are also now available for local pantomimes during the festive period — see Mother Goose at Sleaford Playhouse from December 3–13, or follow along to the enchanting story of Cinderella at Terry O'Toole Theatre from December 18–20.
Don’t forget to save the date for WinterLight too — back on Saturday 20 December. Expect illuminated woodland creatures, a magical lantern procession, and plenty of enchanting entertainment.

Do you have a project in mind that will help make your community healthier, safer and more inclusive? The Flourishing Communities Grant invites community sector organisations to apply for grants up to £1,500 to do just that.
The fund can support a range of capital purchases and requires 10% match funding. The closing date for applications is November 30.
