June Review

In spite of the unseasonal weather, the garden is blossoming through the rain! We’ve had a lovely June full of visitors from all over, stretching from Australia to just up the road in Navenby.

The Big Butterfly Count

Are you taking part in the Big Butterfly Count? Why not spend a few minutes in the cottage garden to see what you can spot? Our gardens are free to enter and we’ve plenty of sunny benches or picnic blankets to share.


Washday Weekend 19th – 22nd July

Kickstart the Summer Holidays with our first Washday Weekend of 2024! Join us to have a go at washing the old fashioned way, using dolly tubs, the posser, and the mangle just like Mrs Smith.

Big Butterfly Count: Friday 12 July, 11am-12pm

Gardening: Friday 26 July, 11am-12pm

Bring your little bees along from 11am-12pm for hands-on learning about our natural world. 

Rhymes, crafts and have-a-go gardening for ages 2-5.

No need to book, just drop in at 11am.

£2 per child, adults free.
