Easter at the Cottage

There's lots to do at the cottage this Easter!

Can you find all the Easter chicks hidden in the cottage? Count them all up correctly and get a prize.

Also find family-friendly Easter craft activities to have a go at in our Learning Centre.

Come along to our first toddler group meeting of the month on March 8^th - we’ll be planting a seed and learning how things grow.

We’ll be enjoying all things Easter at our second session on the 22^nd.

Discover Lincolnshire Weekend

Curious about museum conservation, or how to look after your family heirlooms?

Join us on Saturday 16^th March for our Caring for your Historic Home taster day as part of this year’s Discover Lincolnshire weekend.

Find a family-friendly museum pest bug hunt in the cottage and see what you can spot under our microscope, and drop in to our object handling and conservation sessions at half past each hour.

Included in your admission fee as a special offer this Discover Lincolnshire weekend - Adults £3.50 Children £2 Family £10.

Listen to tall tales of poachers and teachers, explore Mrs Smith’s diary entries, and add memories of your own to our social history maps.

Planting a Seed: Friday 8th, 11am-12pm

Easter: Friday 22nd, 11am-12pm

Bring your little ones along to our toddler group session, held twice a month. No need to book.

£2 per child, adults free.
