Get ready for a fabulous February, as winter takes a back seat and some glorious Lincolnshire gardens come alive with a burst of blooms!
The Spring Bulb Pageant at Doddington Hall begins on Sunday 4th February, showing off the beauty of nature with an array of wonderful snowdrops and winter aconites, continuing through March and early April as more blooms join the display. The Pageant has been a tradition since the 1950’s, and an estimated 150,000 bulbs have been planted or moved in the past 25 years!
Over at Rauceby Hall on Snowdrop Sunday, 25th February, you can take a leisurely stroll through a carpet of delicate snowdrops and learn about the conservation of this historic Victorian gem.
Last weekend's RSPB Big Birdwatch captured moments of winged magnificence, providing a sneak peek into the vibrant birdlife thriving in the District. From charming robins to majestic birds of prey, the event showcased the rich biodiversity that North Kesteven has to offer.
