Join Mrs Smith’s Cottage from August 11th to 14th for an enchanting journey into the past at their Washday Weekend! Experience the charm of yesteryears as a traditional washday comes to life with an immersive, hands-on experience. Learn traditional laundry techniques, explore the picturesque cottage, and discover fascinating tales of bygone days.
Using dolly tubs, washboards, and a mangle just like Mrs Smith, this family-friendly activity is suitable for all ages and included in your admission fee.

Cogglesford Watermill
Join Cogglesford Watermill for their first ever Bake Off event on Saturday 26 August, a summer afternoon enjoying all things cake!
Whip up a Lincolnshire treat in the mill using their own stone-ground flour and local preserves and explore this brilliant building that creates our most important baking ingredient!
Be part of the excitement as the finalists of the competition proudly present their cakes, all made using our own stone-ground flour. Cast your vote for your favourite entry and help decide the first ever Bake Off champion!
