Can you help spread the message?

Voter ID

Everyone wanting to vote in person at a polling station will now need to have one form of photo identification (ID) with them; starting with the local elections on May 4.

Local businesses are a vital part of life in our communities - can you spread the message among your workforce and customer base to help ensure that everyone remembers their accepted form of photo ID to vote on May 4?

The UK Government has prescribed the range of photo ID types which will be accepted. The full list and more information is HERE. Anyone who doesn’t have one of those set types of ID can apply for a free photo-based Voter Authority Certificate HERE.

And of course, people must be registered to vote as always. Poll cards are arriving now and over the coming few weeks. If any resident is not sure they are registered to vote, they can call us to check on 01529 414155. There's more from us HERE.

Energy Survey

The Greater Lincolnshire LEP with the University of Lincoln is working to develop a plan for the UK Food Valley in its drive towards sustainable net zero supply chains.

To ensure sufficient energy provision across the food supply chain in a way that supports the net zero transition and continued growth, the LEP is seeking views towards a Local Area Energy Plan.

There are four short surveys, with a closing date of 30 April:
