Small Business Saturday returns on Saturday 3 December; the national campaign highlights the importance of SMEs to the local economy. The Economic Development team want to encourage as many small businesses as possible across North Kesteven to get involved.
Last year several retailers offered a special discount for the day to encourage people to shop and support local businesses.
There are many ways you can get involved. Firstly, if you wish to be part of the national campaign you can sign up to the small business finder here. We will be promoting businesses participation and promotions on the Business NK social media channels.
We also have Small Business Saturday bunting available, if you are interested in receiving some bunting or wish to inform us of any discounts, please email ecodev@n-kesteven.gov.uk
Earlier this year Business Lincolnshire announced a new support programme for pubs in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland.
The Pub Diversification Programme aims to support all types of projects that pubs may be considering. Potential improvements could include creating overnight accommodation, retail services, additional facilities for walkers and cyclists, motorhome hook up points in the car parks, electric vehicle charging points and more.
The programme is aimed at those looking to generate additional income to help futureproof their pub business. Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub are putting the final touches to the programme and dates, if you would like to register your interest in this programme, please email admin@bizlincolnshire.com
If you have any festive events you would like to promote to visitors and residents in the North Kesteven area, please contact our Heart of Lincs tourism team at heartoflincs@n-kesteven.gov.uk for the opportunity to be included in their ‘Countdown to Christmas’ social media campaign.
If so, join our Business NK group here or follow us on twitter. We share information, support and advice on each platform.
