Heritage Open Days 2022 - What will you discover?
|
Every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate history and culture.
Heritage Open Days is your once-a-year chance to discover some of Lincolnshire's rarely seen historic treasures, with exciting experiences that bring local history and culture to life, for free!
This year's theme is 'Inside Out - Lincolnshire's Landscape of Industry, Design and Innovation', and you'll have the chance to explore the beautiful features of historic St Denys Parish Church, step inside the rarely-opened Almshouse Chapel in Sleaford and many more heritage gems.
There will also be special events and displays including Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum's 'Reach for the Skies, Frank Whittle Story', walking tours with Sleaford Museum and more!

The IBCC has been created to provide a world-class facility to serve as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for Bomber Command.
