For the full list of eligible sectors please refer to the ARG Sector Support Policy. If you think your business is eligible please apply here.

The Additional Restriction Grant (Required to Close) scheme is now closed.
Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Addendum
The closing date for the LRSG (Closed) Addendum scheme is Wednesday 31 March 2021, if you have already applied please do not apply again. If you have recently applied and we require additional information to validate your application please ensure this is submitted by 31 March.
Restart Grant
Following the Chancellor's announcement on 3 March 2021, we will be launching the Restart Grant for applications as per the Government guidance. The application to apply will go live on our website on 1 April and we will be contacting businesses we believe to be eligible inviting them to apply.
For businesses to apply they must have been occupying hereditaments (premises) as of the 1 April 2021 and registered with our Business Rates Department. Any changes to the ratings list (rateable value or to the hereditament) after 1 April 2021 will be ignored for the purpose of eligibility.
Due to Government requesting additional information, for which we do not hold on existing applicants to other COVID-19 related grants, we will be looking to launch a new application process for this grant and businesses will not receive an automatic payment as they have done in the past. As part of our validation process we will be looking for proof of trading from 1 April 2021 to ensure that payments are only made to active businesses. Further information on what constitutes as trading can be found on point 24 and 25 of the Government guidance.
Please be aware we are still awaiting confirmation of our allocation. At the current time we will be looking to make payments to eligible businesses from 12 April 2021, please note that the application closure date for this scheme is 30 June 2021 with all final payments made by the 31 July 2021.
