 Autumn 23
The actual task for the autumn term will be sent out later today. The deadline for completion and submission is Friday 22 September 23. Parent Agreement Forms (PAFs) are to be sent via the portal by Monday 25 September 23.
Please remember, funding can't be claimed for:
- Children who have not attended the term for a minimum of two weeks
- Children who are two but are not approved two-year olds
- Children whose parents/guardian have not completed a PAF (at the actual only)
- A child included on the estimate claim who did not start the term for which funding is being claimed
- Children with eligibility codes for extended hours starting in their grace period in the current term
- A child who has left between funding terms with no notice period given
A new PAF needs to be completed for each new funded child, when a child currently funded changes their hours (e.g. a child becomes eligible for 30 hours or loses eligibility, a child moving from two to three year old funding (to check for EYPP) or changes in any personal details).
A placement notification MUST be completed for any funded two year olds. This will add them directly onto your headcount. Do not add them directly to your headcount as you will not be able to enter any hours for them.
To be eligible for 30 hours in September, parents must have got their new code by 31st August or reconfirmed their existing code by this date. Please ensure that you double check codes before allowing children to start for more than 15 hours in September.
There will be no discretion given for codes with a start date on or after 1st September 2023 unless the parent can clearly demonstrate they applied before 31st August 2023 and the late code is due to an issue with HMRC.
Portal training will be held on Tuesday 12 September at 6.30pm and Thursday 14 September at 1pm via Microsoft Teams. If you would like someone to attend one of the sessions please email eef@northlincs.gov.uk
