Childminders - Understanding the Intent - 9th May 2022 @ Ashby Community Hub 6.30-8.30pm
This session will look at developing a clear and appropriate curriculum for your children. It will support you in deciding what you intend children to do to learn and develop, in line with the educational programmes defined in the EYFS. Under the revised EYFS and in line with the Ofsted Inspection framework, during an inspection you will likely be asked to share and discuss your curriculum intent and what this looks like and means for the children in your care.
The session will look at identified good practice examples and additionally offer opportunities for workshop discussions to support you in your childminding business.
It will be a valuable chance for child minders to evaluate current practice and consider additional approaches to learning and development opportunities.
