S3 Retreats

Third year students had a really enjoyable week when the Salesian Ministry Team led a one day retreat on the theme, 'Sacred Space'. RE classes joined the ministry team for a full day retreat. The day was very busy with the pupils thinking about ways of communicating, their relationships and ways of encountering God. The activities were varied with the students enjoying, amongst other things, making a mandala and linking contemporary songs to descriptions of God. The retreat team were full of praise for the students participation in each retreat day and the pupil evaluations showed how much they enjoyed and benefited from their retreat day. Makeup Success

Congratulations to Amy Johnston in S6 who won a bronze medal in face painting and a silver medal in prom makeup when she represented Scotland at the AHT competition in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.

Football Success

Congratulations to Josh Small and Aidan Hessay who are part of the Milton Rovers YFC team. The team have been confirmed as LFDA League Champions for Season 2018/19.

2018 Leavers' Data

The Scottish Government recently released data on those pupils who left school in 2018. We are very pleased with our data which shows improvement in:

those leaving with level 4 and level 5 literacy and numeracy - our highest figures yet
those gaining a positive destination after school
those leaving school with at least 5 National 4 passes and at least 5 National 5 passes
those leaving school with 1 or more, 3 or more and 5 or more Highers
