The sky above Strathclyde Country Park will be lit up on
Monday 5 November when the annual fireworks display takes place, organised by
North and South Lanarkshire Councils.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm and the fireworks
display will start at 7.30pm.
A funfair, provided by M&Ds Scotland’s Theme Park,
will run from 4.30pm to 9.00pm near the Watersports Centre. X Factor
semi-finalists Cutkelvins will headline the Clyde 1 roadshow which provides music
and entertainment throughout the evening.
On Sunday 4 December, three events will take place from
7.30pm at:
- Airdrie Leisure
Centre
- Dunbeth Park in
Coatbridge, and
- St Maurice’s
High School, Cumbernauld.
Glow in the dark wristbands are available for children to
wear at the four fireworks events to help in reuniting parents and children if
they become separated. The bands will be available in advance at the
Watersports Centre in Strathclyde Country Park and M&D’s, then at the
events themselves.
More information about all the events is on our web site.
