Waste
services
All household kerbside waste and recycling collections
scheduled for Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 December, will be undertaken on Sunday
24 and Wednesday 27 December 2017 respectively. Similarly, collections
scheduled for Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 January 2018, will be undertaken on Sunday
31 December and Wednesday 3 January 2018 respectively.
No Special Uplift Service will operate between Saturday 23 December and Sunday 7 January 2018. Uplift requests, including the free uplift of real Christmas trees, (with all decorations removed), can still be placed during this time by contacting Northline on 01698 403110 or online.
All Household Waste Recycling Centres will be closed on Monday 25 December and Monday 1 January 2018.
Council offices
Council offices, including First Stop Shops and Municipal Banks, will be closed from Monday 25 December 2017 to Wednesday 3 January 2018.
A Registration Office will be open each day on 27, 28 and 29 December from 9.00am to 4.00pm:
- Airdrie Registration Office will be open on Wednesday 27 December (contact telephone number is 01236 758080)
- Motherwell Registration Office will be open on Thursday 28 December (contact telephone number is 01698 302206)
- Cumbernauld Registration Office will be open on Friday 29 December (contact number is 01236 632740)
An appointment system will be in operation to please call to arrange an appointment. Note: due to legislative time scales death registrations will be given priority. For emergency registrations, contact the out-of-hours number on 07985 330371.
Social Work Locality Offices
Social Work offices will be open on 27, 28 and 29 December 2017 and 3, 4 and 5 January 2018.
Between 23 and 26 December and 30 December and 2 January, contact can be made with the Social Work Emergency Service on 0800 121 4114 or Home Support on 0300 555 0408.
Northline
With the exception of the Emergency Repairs Service (0800 678 1166), Northline will be closed between 25 and 27 December 2017 and 1 January and 3rd January 2018.
