We are pleased to confirm that the Partnership has received further funding in Year 3 of the Partnership Community Transformation programme.
This funding will support Community Mental Health services’ journey to help ensure our service users across our five boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington, recover sooner for longer, have accessible services, and recieve care closer to where they live.
Funding will enable us to invest further in our workforce across our core community and intensive teams. We will continue to share more information on plans as they develop.

Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and neighbouring Camden and Islington NHS Foundation are now working together in a formal Partnership, with a single Chair, Chief Executive and Partnership Executive Team. This will further support and speed up the integration and effectiveness of our community teams. Our new Partnership Strategy was launched in May 2023. To give our Partnership a clear identity, we are now called the North London Mental Health Partnership.
Our new Partnership Strategy is available here: North London Mental Health Partnership Five Year Strategy [pdf] 2MB
Our Partnership Strategy is summarised on a page, showing our four Strategic Aims and our agreed Strategic Objectives for 2023/24, here: Strategy on a Page 2023 [pdf] 822KB

As we approach the implementation of DIALOG+ across the Partnership, there’s nothing better than hearing first hand from those who have been working closely on the project. As part of our Community Mental Health Transformation (CMHT) programme, Emelie Green, DIALOG+ Project Manager, believes it’s a real gamechanger; “We can provide personalised care plans, taking into account each service user's unique needs.”

Lowther Road is our new Community Mental Health facility in Islington. At the end of April, the trust held an event to celebrate the fantastic ongoing work to develop the site.
The redevelopment, being built by UK construction company Kier, forms part of our Partnership's exciting St Pancras Transformation Programme.

Like many other trusts around the country, our staff came together on 12 May, to celebrate International Nurses Day – also commemorating the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth.
This year’s theme was “the contribution of nursing” and to mark this special day, nurses from across the Partnership shared a message about the contributions they feel they make to the profession, highlights from their work and what they enjoy the most about being a nurse.
Hear from a few of our nurses and what the day meant to them here.

The National Clinical Audit of Psychosis (NCAP) aims to improve the quality of care that NHS Mental Health trusts provide to people with Psychosis.
Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services are measured against criteria relating to the care and treatment they provide, so that the quality of care can be improved.
The results for NCAP have now been reviewed and we are happy to announce that both the Barnet and Haringey EIP teams are now meeting the required level 3 standard. Enfield’s score was very close with a slight drop-off in one of the key areas which meant they went just below the standard. Action is underway in this area to reach the required standard as soon as possible.
