Nottingham schoolchildren
create Safe Positive Smart communities at Primary Parliament! - Children from across the City
have united to collaborate on a future communities project as part of Primary
Parliament. The sessions, held at The Council House, were entitled: SAFE Lives,
POSITIVE Neighbourhoods, SMART City. Incredibly, the children designed,
researched and built their SPS communities in just one day. The day concluded
with a presentation by each group and discussion in the council chamber with
their fellow Primary Parliament members, chaired by Councillor David Mellen. Throughout the sessions, the children
demonstrated brilliant teamwork, creativity, enthusiasm and public speaking
skills to present original concepts excellently. If your school is interested in attending the next Primary Parliament session, please click on the following link: https://bit.ly/2pHXMJl
