The Nottingham Emmanuel School - Celebrating the outcome of its first inspection since becoming an academy in 2013. Ofsted found that Emmanuel continues to be good school where the 'ethos empowers all children to achieve as they should'.  Central to this ethos was the 'palpable' strong culture of care and support providing a safe environment. Students appreciated 'the opportunity to learn with pupils of differing cultures and religions to their own, they said it added a richness to their learning'. This inspection follows an Outstanding Church Schools' (SIAMS) report in November. Derek Hobbs, Principal, said 'I'm delighted that the inspection team saw the school as it is; a community of young people who come together from over 40 different primary schools across the city and the county to both excel academically and to flourish socially, morally, spiritually and culturally."
