4 February until 6 February
Milton Keynes’ annual event for children and families with special educational needs and disabilities is going virtual for 2021.
The MK SEND Information Day, hosted in partnership between the SENDIAS Service and PACA MK (Parent Carer Forum), is held annually and is typically attended by more than 500 people.
This year’s event, renamed the MK SEND Information Festival 2021, is taking place online and via video across three days instead of the usual one, starting on Thursday 4 February until Saturday 6 February.
Mayor of Milton Keynes Andrew Geary will formally open the festival live by video on this link, followed by keynote speaker and Paralympian Natasha Baker MBE. View the live opening ceremony here.
This year’s event, which is themed around support for SEND in a virtual world, includes a packed programme of online activities and workshops designed for parents and carers of children and young people (aged under 25) living with special education needs and disabilities.
