Newport Pagnell Library to open in December!

We're thrilled to announce that Newport Pagnell Library will open ahead of schedule!

Your newly refurbished library will open on 17 December 2019.

Pop the date in your diary as everyone is invited to join us at the opening ceremony on Tuesday 17 December at 11am. The Mayors of Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell will both be there to welcome the local library back into the community.

The newly refurbished library has been transformed into a modern library offering flexible, comfortable spaces to read, study and relax.

The regular opening hours will be:

  • Monday  ~  CLOSED
  • Tuesday  ~  10-5
  • Wednesday  ~  10-5
  • Thursday  ~  10-5
  • Friday  ~  10-5
  • Saturday  ~  10-1
  • Sunday  ~  CLOSED

In January the regular clubs will join us again - offering storytimes, adult crafts, knit and natter, book chat group and councillor surgeries. The details and times of all clubs will be shown on the What's On web page.

The Newport Pagnell Library refurbishment has included the installation of new technology to extend the opening hours with Libraries Xtra. 

Libraries Xtra is our way of giving you access to the library beyond the staffed hours. To use the Libraries Xtra scheme you need to upgrade your membership and you can find full details on the Libraries Xtra web page.
