Anyone who lives, works or learns in Newham can apply for up to £5,000. Voluntary, community and faith sector organisations (VCFS) can apply for up to £20,000.
Grants will fund projects based in one of Newham's eight Community Neighbourhoods that meet one of the local priorities chosen by residents.

 Your opinion matters – renewal of the Cumulative Impact Policy
The Council is consulting on the future of the Cumulative Impact Policy, whereby it looks at limiting the number of late night refreshment and entertainment licences within specific areas of the Borough.
This consultation is required by law before the Council decides whether to revoke the designation or continue with it.
The objective of the Cumulative Impact Policy is to reduce crime and disorder and public nuisance in areas with a high saturation of licensed premises.

 Enjoy Newham’s local architecture at this year’s Open House Festival
Open House Festival is a two-week celebration taking place 6-17 September, celebrating London’s architecture, landscapes, communities and neighbourhoods including mixed-use spaces both retail and industrial.
As part of the 2023 program, Newham will be showcasing over 23 places with 69 events, a mix of historic and new places across the borough through guided tours, artistic performances, talks with local authors and drop–in sessions. These include Theatre Royal, Abbey Mills Pumping Station, Sugar House Island, The Building Crafts College and many more.

 Creative UK Enterprise Business Builder Grant
Creative UK is the independent network for the UK’s Creative Industry. Its Business Builder Grant of up to £2,500 will support SMEs working in ‘moving image’. This includes those working in film, TV, animation, games and immersive media, tech platforms with a narrative focus.
