Ben Flack, who is a Market Operative at Romford Market,
has received a Diploma in Market Administration from the National Association of British Market Authorities
(NABMA) – one of only 20 people in the country to successfully obtain the
qualification.
Gaining the diploma was the result of a year of work by

Good value on our stalls
'We offer good value for money' is the message from Romford’s market traders.
Whatever the weather
the cheerful banter and friendly welcome make it a pleasure to shop in the
market and there’s good value on everything from fruit and veg to clothes and
jewellery.

 Mark it in the Market
Havering Police Safer Transport Team security code cycles free of charge on the first Saturday of each month.
The next session will be on Saturday 4 April, between 11.00am and 2.00pm at the South Street end of the market place
between Lloyds Bank and the Cooperative Bank.
All residents have to do is turn up so their bike can be security marked
and stickers attached to warn would be thieves that they should leave
this cycle alone.
The details are also added to the Bike Register.
These free sessions in Romford Market on the first Saturday of each
month are one of the ways that the council and police work together to
keep crime levels low in our community.
