Highways England is holding a public consultation on proposals to improve the traffic flow around the Brook Street roundabout at the A12/M25 intersection.

The plans to create a new slip road for traffic travelling northbound on the M25 and looking to head east to Essex using the A12 are designed to reduce traffic flow around the roundabout. They are part of Highways England’s £2.2 billion investment programme in strategic roads in the South East of England.

Christmas at the Queen's Theatre

Pinney Talfourd once again teamed up with Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch earlier this month to host Christmas at the Queen’s – a lively free sing along event for the whole community.

The charity raffle and generous donations raised £2,061 in aid of the Queens Theatre charitable trust and Pinney Talfourd’s charity of the year ‘MNDA (South Essex branch)’. Local businesses rallied to support the event by donating some fabulous prizes from champagne, restaurant vouchers and even a teeth whitening treatment! Funds raised are divided equally between the two charities.
