Arts and Crafts Taster Session
Monday
5 September, 4pm - 5.30pm
Fairkytes is offering children aged 5+ a chance to try some of our arts and crafts in a
free taster session. Children will be introduced to different types of drawing,
art and crafts to help develop their artistic skills. Places are limited, to book please phone: 01708 456308.

FREE Pottery Taster Session for Children
Wednesday 7 September, 4pm - 5.30pm
Children age 5+ can also try a free pottery taster session moulding and modelling clay into unique designs and exploring the art of glazing. These will be kiln fired in our specialist pottery room for collection later. Places are limited, to book please phone: 01708 456308.

Fairkytes Craft Gallery is an exciting and recent addition to our
Centre. Come and see the wide range of different crafts on display and for sale, all
hand-made by centre users, local craftspeople, or special guest artists.

Fairkytes Live
Fairkytes Live is Hornchurch's most popular live music venue. Situated within the Annexe of Fairkytes Arts Centre it has a licensed bar and a full programme of live music and comedy.

US singer Lisa Mills brings her soulful Southern blues to Fairkytes for a second visit following a wonderful performance of blues, soul, gospel, R&B and country last summer.

Fairkytes Live is looking for new performers for its 2017 youth
and adult battle of the bands competitions and open mic nights. Whatever your
talent – song and dance, music, drama or

 Rooms and studio for hire
If
you’re looking for a room to hold your class or a meeting place for
your club, Fairkytes has a number of simple, adaptable spaces in a range
of sizes, all at reasonable cost.
Whether you need a clear area for dance, tables and chairs for a
meeting or a cabaret style layout for a quiz night, we can be of help.
Every room has folding tables and stacking
chairs. Other facilities available include a projector and screen, CD
players, TV, DVD and video playback, PA system, sound and lighting decks
and disco lighting.
