Harold Wood Library is looking for volunteers to work alongside
staff.
Volunteers can help with everything from
creating exciting book displays to shelf stacking, to helping with baby-bounce events
or teaching people how to use computers and iPads right through to fundraising
or helping libraries reach more people.

Council
consults on two per cent Council Tax rise
Harold Wood residents and business people are encouraged to comment on proposals to increase Council Tax to fund care for elderly and vulnerable adults before

 £7,200
spent on Harold Wood Park playground equipment
At Harold Wood Park, a new quarter pipe, grind
rails and a skateable bench have been added to the area which is popular with scooter
and skate enthusiasts. The enhancements to the skate park area were made
following discussions between Havering Council’s Youth Services team, young
people who use the skate park area and the local community.
The
equipment has been installed thanks to funding support from Veolia North
Thames Trust, through the Landfill Communities
Fund.
