London Overground update

On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, no service between Gospel Oak and Barking due to Network Rail bridge works. Replacement buses will operate.


A12 lane closures

Until Monday 21 November Transport for London (TfL) will be repairing pavements along the A12 between Mawney Road, Romford and Whalebone Lane, Dagenham. This will require a rolling programme of lane closures along this stretch of the A12 and will lead to delays for motorists.

During next week, as part of work being done by Highways England,  there may be lane closures on the A13, near the junction with the M25.

Crossrail 2

Consultation on the possible route for Crossrail 2 is now taking place and ends on Friday 8 January 2016.

There will be drop-in information sessions at Liverpool Street Station until Friday 18 December.

Roadworks

On Monday 9 November road works will take place on Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch, between Southdown Road and St Leonard’s Way. Temporary traffic lights will be in use.

On Thursday 12 November road works will take place on  Clay Tye Road, Upminster, outside Ashley Farm. Temporary traffic lights will be in use.

Until Friday 13 November road works will take place on Station Road, Harold Wood, near junction with Queens Park Road. Temporary traffic lights will be in use.

Until Sunday 15 November Transport for London is reducing the A127 to a single lane in each direction at the Ardleigh Green bridge.

During November 2015, junction improvement work will continue to install a roundabout to replace the traffic lights at the junction of Straight Road, Harold Hill with Broxhill Road, Lower Bedfords Road and Noak Hill Road. Drivers are advised to find alternative routes if possible.

The following roads will be closed while resurfacing work takes please. The work is subject to weather conditions so dates may change.

Friday 6 November and Monday 9 November, 7.30pm to 6.30am each night, Hyland Way, Hornchurch at junction with Hornchurch Road. Diversions will be in place.

Friday 6 November and Monday 9 November, 7.30pm to 6.30am each night, Candover Road, Hornchurch at junction with Hornchurch Road. Diversions will be in place.

Tuesday 10 November, 7.30pm to 6.30am each night, Harrow Drive, Hornchurch at junction with Hornchurch Road. Diversions will be in place.

Tuesday 10 November, 7.30pm to 6.30am each night, Elmhurst Drive, Hornchurch at junction with Hornchurch Road. Diversions will be in place.

Thursday 12 November and Friday 13 November, 7.30pm to 6.30am each night, Upminster Road South, Rainham between Cloister Close and Sunningdale Avenue. Diversions will be in place.
