Half term and Halloween

Market days during the school half-term holidays (Wednesday 28,
Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October) will see plenty of family fun in Romford Market.
To keep the young ones busy there will be - weather permitting - an inflatable
slide, merry-go-round and face painting on all three days.
Then on Saturday stallholders will be dressing up in scary
costumes and decorating their stalls in spooky style. Children can take part in the pumpkin hunt with sweets and
give-aways as prizes.
 Christmas is coming
This year Romford Market has lots of surprises in store to
make Christmas shopping even better than usual.
Watch out for late night shopping until 9pm, live
entertainment, the Christmas Village, bar and much more throughout December.
And don’t miss the switching on of the Romford lights on Thursday
19 November from 4.30pm.

No charge for bags

When you shop at Romford Market you don’t have to pay for
your carrier bags – they’re all part of the customer service provided by
stallholders.
Not only do the bags help you get your goods home easily but
the bags can then be reused for other shopping trips, lining the kitchen bin or many other uses.
So love your local market, grab some bargains and a free
carrier bag.
Pictured is Graham Gibbons who is one of the market trader’s
providing carrier bags at no extra cost.

Each week sees new stalls at Romford Market, bringing
different types of goods for sale.
Recent additions are Jay Thakar, of Enlight Me, (pictured
above) who sells candles, candle holders and prints – ideal for Christmas
presents and Alak Joran, of Home Décor (pictured below) who offers a range of
clocks and other items to beautify your home.

Want to be a Market Trader?
Romford Market currently has some spaces for new traders. Preference
will be given to those wanting to trade on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
but there is also limited space available for casual traders wanting to operate on
one day only.
