Emergency First Aid at Work

Havering Adult College is offering this one day course to enable learners to achieve this Level 2 qualification. The next course will be held on Wednesday 28 October, 9:15am – 5pm at the Bower Park Centre. The cost of the course is £62. Enquire about enrolment here.

Weekend GPs’ service in Havering

Did you know that GPs in Havering have opened a weekend service? Local GPs are ready and waiting to see you from 12noon - 5pm on Saturday and 12noon - 4pm on Sunday.

Weekend GP appointments are easy and convenient, so if you are unwell or injured and can’t get to see your own GP during the week – call us this weekend. 

Any patient registered with a Havering GP can call to book an appointment direct on 020 3770 1888. Phone lines are open from 9am - 3pm on both days.

Each police Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT)  holds meetings where the public can attend, ask questions and get crime prevention advice.

The next meeting is on Wednesday 2 December - public meeting

Need a helping hand?

Family Mosaic runs monthly drop in sessions at Collier Row Early Children’s Centre.  The next one is from 12noon – 4pm on Wednesday 7 October. 


If you see something that needs improving in Collier Row please report it using the Council’s online forms.

The forms cover a wide range of issues from fly-tipping to potholes. Completing the correct form sends it direct to the right people to deal with that issue.

Consultations are currently underway regarding accessibility of bus stops at:

Avelon Road, Gobions Avenue and Highfield Road, Collier Row

Collier Row Lane, Collier Row

Details of the proposals can be found at Accessible Bus Stops. Comments on the proposals should be emailed to The Principal Highways Engineer, not later than Friday 16 October.  


Cycle grant for St Patrick's School

St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, in Collier Row, has received £2,050 from Transport for London for an initiative to create a small fleet of bikes for their pupils’ use during cycle training, to provide cycle storage at the school and run a cycle club for pupils.
