Havering Adult College is offering this five week course to
enable learners to develop confidence in the kitchen and create delicious meals
for guests. The course will start on Wednesday 4 November, 7:15pm
– 9:15pm at Redden Court School. The cost of the course is £50, with an
extra £10 for resources. Enquire about enrolment here.
Cash and
cannabis seized
Police operating
a search warrant, on Friday 2 October, at a property on the border of Harold Wood and Romford seized a
large sum of cash, around £5,000 (pictured below), and a quantity of cannabis (pictured above).
A 31-year-old
man was arrested at a nearby Harold Hill address and is currently on bail.
The peak time for
burglaries is between 4pm and 8pm during the winter months. Lights and
radios can deter criminals from breaking in as they prefer empty houses.

Harold Wood Station work
Crossrail is currently working on building a
new footbridge at this station.
Rainham’s Remembrance Day Service and
wreath laying ceremony will take place at the War Memorial, Harold Wood
on Sunday 8 November. The two minutes’ silence will take place at 11am.

The young people enjoyed track cycling
in the iconic velodrome, BMX on the remodelled Olympic track, road cycling on
the one mile circuit and mountain biking on extensive trails that weave around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
