It’s party time at Romford Market on Saturday 12
September as traders join forces to commemorate Her Majesty The Queen becoming
Great Britain’s longest reigning monarch.
On parade at the event to provide music, will be the
Hornchurch Drum and Trumpet Corps along with the Town Crier, on-street
entertainers and performers.
And to help families celebrate this special occasion
there will be free face painting, fairground rides and a bouncy castle. Get full details here.

Honour Her Majesty at our Civic Service
Havering residents are invited
to join the Mayor, councillors and civic leaders at a special service to
commemorate Her Majesty The Queen becoming Great Britain’s longest reigning
monarch.
The service will be
held at St Edward the Confessor Church in Romford Market Place from 3pm on
Sunday 13 September. There are around 200 places available on a first come,
first served basis.

Want to be a Market Trader?
Romford Market currently has some spaces for new traders. Preference
will be given to those wanting to trade on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
but there is also limited space available for casual traders wanting to operate on
one day only.

The historical Romford
Market began nearly 800 years ago, in 1247, and trades every Wednesday
and Friday from 9am until 4.30pm and every Saturday from 9am until 5pm.
