 London in Bloom awards for local parks
Cranham and Upminster flower power has helped Havering
win the top award in the London in
Bloom 2015 competition with five awards being won in the town.
Local areas which gained awards were:
Tylers
Common winning bronze in the Common of the Year category
Cranham
Brickfieldswinning silver gilt in the Large Conservation Area category and
silver in the Large Park of the Year category
Upminster
Park winning silver gilt in the Large Park of the Year category
South
Essex Crematorium/Upminster Cemetery winning silver gilt in the Large Cemetery category
Havering won 47 of the 193 awards
available across London and will now represent the capital in the Britain
in Bloom 2016 competition.
