West End Project - Rescheduled: Charing Cross Road and Denmark Street Resurfacing

Resurfacing 3rd May - 10th May 2022

We will be resurfacing Charing Cross Road between Denmark Street and Oxford Street as well as Denmark Street itself. Road closures, bus diversions and pedestrian diversions will all be in place.

This resurfacing was postponed from April due a burst water main which needed to be repaired.

Charing Cross Road and Denmark Street - road closure and access restrictions

Between Tuesday 3rd May – Tuesday 10th May 2022 we will be resurfacing Charing Cross Road and Denmark Street.

Tuesday 3rd May – Saturday 7th May: Charing Cross Road
Monday 9th May - Tuesday 10th May: Denmark Street

Throughout the works Charing Cross Road will be closed 24/7 between Cambridge Circus and New Oxford Street. Access only will be available to properties between Cambridge Circus and Manette Street.

Working hours will be 8am – 6pm on weekdays and 9am – 6pm on Saturday. The only work outside of these times will be the maintenance of the diversion signs.
