Fountain restoration
Our specialist contractors London Stone Conservation have now completed the painstaking process of carefully dismantling the Grade II listed fountain so it can be taken away for specialist conservation work. The fountain will be reinstalled as part of the new public space in Princes Circus. Updates on progress will continue to be shared on our website.

We are very excited to share that the West End Project have been shortlisted for Transport Project of the Year at the 2021 NEC Awards. We have been selected as one of only three finalists from across the world recognising the very best in project delivery and showcasing examples of good practice through collaboration. Camden worked closely with Eurovia as the main contractor and Norman Rourke Pryme acting as NEC3 Project Manager and Supervisor. The awards take place on the 23rd June 2021 so we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed until then!
Alfred Place programme available
Work is underway on Alfred Place to transform the area into a park. The road surface has been broken up, trial holes are underway to investigate the location of services and the hoarding is now up surrounding the first two working areas.
A programme of work has been shared online and sent to all local residents and stakeholders. You can view the programme via our website. We expect to have completed the park in mid November 2021. Updates on progress will continue to be shared.
