Alfred Place Underway
Work is underway on Alfred Place to transform the area into a park. The road surface has been broken up, trial holes are underway to investigate the location of services and the hoarding is now up surrounding the first two working areas. Updates on progress will continue to be shared on our website.

Whitfield Garden Update
The final work in Whitfield Gardens is now taking place. We have installed a new “green fence” underneath the Fitzrovia Mural. This is to prevent graffiti on the mural – which is specially treated with an anti-graffiti coating making it easy to remove.
On Thursday 15th April we will be cleaning the new pavings stones in main square and adding a special anti algae coating. During the works and while the coating dries the area will be closed until Wednesday 21st April.
We are pleased that locals have been enjoying the space and as lockdown eases we hope more visitors will get to enjoy the park as the plants flourish through spring and summer.

Two way traffic
Don't forget that Gower Street and Bloomsbury Street are now two-way to traffic between Grafton Way and High Holborn. Once HS2 works are completed two way traffic will run as far north as Euston Road.
The new traffic restrictions to sections of Tottenham Court Road are also now in place.
