Can you help young people learn during lockdown?

With schools closed, we’re working to ensure all Camden pupils can continue to learn from home, including providing access to laptops and WiFi connections. We’re asking businesses to donate spare equipment, or to sponsor the provision of laptops and connections.

 

We’re also calling on Camden employers to be part of a pioneering Virtual Work Experience Programme, providing local students with their first experiences of work this June/July. Find out more on how to get involved.

Watch out for scammers!

Criminals are expert at impersonating people, businesses, police and government officials.Covid-19 simply gives a new opportunity to defraud.

Malicious email attachments, false government grant phone calls and CEO impersonation are some of the frauds undermining businesses. The increasing risk has led National Trading Standards to launch Businesses Against Scams – a free online training tool to help protect businesses.  Sign up and take the training:

New Indoor Air Quality guide released

Camden Council has produced a guide outlining simple ways to improve air quality at home. With current circumstances forcing us to spend more time indoors, it is important that we do what we can to make our homes healthy spaces by reducing indoor air pollution. You can find the guide on the Camden Climate Change Alliance website.
