Road Safety Week

We've teamed up with Living Streets for road safety week. During the week Living Street reps will be on Tottenham Court Road raising awareness on waking safety. Remember to :

  • Always look both ways when crossing the road
  • Use the pedestrian crossings
  • Be mindful of your surroundings - for example look up from your phone when crossing the road 
Capper Street pocket Park

Capper Street Pocket Park

From the 18th November we will be starting work on the first new pocket park on Tottenham Court Road. 

From this date the junction of Capper Street and Tottenham Court Road will be permanently closed to traffic with new planting and seating added.

This is just the start, we'll be creating lots of new green spaces across the area including two more pocket parks on Tottenham Court Road alone. Similar places to stop, rest and enjoy will be added to the junctions of Tottenham Court Road and Bayley Street and Tottenham Court Road and Bedford Avenue.
